Lake Effect Lawn & Landscaping (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides services subject to the following Terms & Conditions. By accepting a quote or scheduling service, you (“Customer”) agree to these terms.
1. Scope of Service
Service Description: We provide professional lawn care and landscaping services as outlined in your specific quote.
Access to Property: Customers must ensure that the property is accessible on the scheduled day. This includes keeping gates unlocked and ensuring pets are safely secured indoors. If our crew cannot access the service area, a trip fee may be applied.
2. Scheduling & Cancellations
Weather Policy: Lawn care is weather-dependent. In the event of heavy rain or extreme conditions, services will be rescheduled to the next available clear day to ensure quality results and protect turf health.
Cancellations: We require at least 24 hours' notice for any cancellations or rescheduling. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a cancellation fee.
3. Payment Terms
Due Date: Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Accepted Methods: We accept major credit/debit cards and secure electronic bank transfers via our online billing portal.
Late Payments: Late payments may incur a fee of 1.5% per month on the outstanding balance.
4. Liability & Safety
Property Damage: While we take care during service, we are not responsible for damage to items left on the lawn (including toys, hoses, lighting, or debris) or improperly installed or unmarked underground utilities (including invisible fences or shallow irrigation lines).
Satisfaction Guarantee: If you are not satisfied with our work, please notify us within 24 hours. We will return to address any valid concerns at no additional charge.
5. Communication & SMS
Consent: By providing your phone number, you agree to receive service-related text messages (such as reminders and updates). You may opt out at any time by replying STOP. Message and data rates may apply.
6. Right to Refuse Service
We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service at our discretion, including but not limited to unsafe working conditions, aggressive behavior, or non-payment.
7. Service Limitations
Lawn care results may vary based on factors outside our control, including weather, soil conditions, existing lawn health, and irrigation practices. We do not guarantee specific results such as growth, color, or weed-free conditions.
8. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any updates.
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Michigan.
